Solid metal. Good for smaller fish finders
Solid metal and strong. Great for smaller fish finders that don't weigh as much. 12 inch screen is a little too heavy and might cause the mount to move. Should be no problem if you use only electric to move around your boat. Driving with a gas motor or just transporting it while mounted can cause it to move. For the price it's a solid choice for me and meets all my needs. Hope this helps

The 1.5" Ball mount fit my Lowrance FS 10 perfectly. The base mounted to the gunwale solidly and makes a great way to mount my electronics when there wasn't much space available for mounting. Easy on easy off set up. I recommend this product and would purchase again.

Actually ordered a Yakattack mount for my 93sv, despite the reviews saying that the unit bounces around with that mount. Several reviews said that the Yakattack mount was very shaky where it attaches to the boat.Found this one here and it was highly reviewed, plus it was cheaper.I immediately cancelled my order of the Yakattack and bought this. Just installed it today and I’m very happy with it and the stability it has. Solid mount, made from great materials and simple design that looks like it could last for many years.Would buy again.
