I have limited space on my bike's handlebars which I use 1-inch RAM type ball mounts. I needed a way to attach two lights AND my cellphone on one bike and two lights on one side with a separate phone mount on another bike (pictured).The metal is sturdy and the ball joints have a texture that won't slip as easy and other brands with smooth surfaces. The weight is hefty for a mount, but completely standard for a RAM mounts. It rotates easy though when loosened and is just as easy to angle how you need when partially tightened.On my other bike that uses RAM mounts it holds the phone absolutely stable and works quite well.The only point to be careful of is the second mount arm. The arm's tightening screw is just a bit longer than absolute minimum. Be careful when attaching to two ends that you don't unscrew it more than needed or you risk it popping off. It easily screws back, but it's better to prevent it if you can.You need to attach two things, but only have room for one RAM mounts, this is a no-brainer!

Solid metal. Good for smaller fish finders
Solid metal and strong. Great for smaller fish finders that don't weigh as much. 12 inch screen is a little too heavy and might cause the mount to move. Should be no problem if you use only electric to move around your boat. Driving with a gas motor or just transporting it while mounted can cause it to move. For the price it's a solid choice for me and meets all my needs. Hope this helps

Actually ordered a Yakattack mount for my 93sv, despite the reviews saying that the unit bounces around with that mount. Several reviews said that the Yakattack mount was very shaky where it attaches to the boat.Found this one here and it was highly reviewed, plus it was cheaper.I immediately cancelled my order of the Yakattack and bought this. Just installed it today and I’m very happy with it and the stability it has. Solid mount, made from great materials and simple design that looks like it could last for many years.Would buy again.
