This was an update to my Ram 0.75" ball mount, which worked fine with a 7" depth finder. I updated my depth finder to a 10" screen and it wouldn't stay in place while driving. I replaced my mount with this one and not only is the ball larger, the tightening screw handle is 3 times the size and it works like it was mounted on granite. It doesn't jiggle while going wide open against the wind and yet weighs very little.
I used this product to mount my garmin livescope transducer arm. Works awesome
Worked as it should. Used it for a transducer pole mount. seems to hold it securely.
