Sturdy and Heavy Duty -Constructed from high strength composite. The weight capacity of the double socket arm can be up to 10.5 lbs at rest and 3 lbs at motion.

I ordered this as part of another item so that I can build a custom phone mounting system in my side by side. Material is a heavy duty plastic, easy to manipulate, and I feel like it was last a long time. The bolts and handles to tighten/loosen are of good quality and do not appear to be thin. This makes it easy to loosen and rotate to a different configuration, and then tighten back down to a setting/secure hold.

This is a well made and sturdy accessory.The Amazon listing states that it works with Ram mounts, and it does. However, just be aware that this works with a 38 MM ball mount, which is much larger than the standard ball mount. This adjustable arm is made for larger, heavier devices.

Solid metal. Good for smaller fish finders
Solid metal and strong. Great for smaller fish finders that don't weigh as much. 12 inch screen is a little too heavy and might cause the mount to move. Should be no problem if you use only electric to move around your boat. Driving with a gas motor or just transporting it while mounted can cause it to move. For the price it's a solid choice for me and meets all my needs. Hope this helps

Actually ordered a Yakattack mount for my 93sv, despite the reviews saying that the unit bounces around with that mount. Several reviews said that the Yakattack mount was very shaky where it attaches to the boat.Found this one here and it was highly reviewed, plus it was cheaper.I immediately cancelled my order of the Yakattack and bought this. Just installed it today and I’m very happy with it and the stability it has. Solid mount, made from great materials and simple design that looks like it could last for many years.Would buy again.
