Add a RAM mount arm anywhere!

I use RAM mounts in my art studio to hold everything from my palettes to my canvases. This ball mount allowed me to attach any arm to the aluminum extrusion wall grid I built. This ball mount is an extremely good value. It’s as solid as a rock so I don’t have to worry about it failing (which is extremely important when it’s holding a painting that I’ve worked on for days or weeks.) I’m extremely happy with this RAM component.

Perfect for my pontoon boat

I made a livescope pole to use on my pontoon boat for summer fishing and I use size c ram mounts for it. This mounts clamps to my rail flawlessly and hold my pole with ease. It's way more robust than I thought it would be and I don't worry at all clamping my mounts onto it. Installation took a few minutes but I just need an Alan wrench as the bottom bracket has insets for the nuts which holds them as I tighten. If you have a rail and need a ball mount, this is a great option.

Bigger than I thought

No, not the 1.5" ball size, but the lower portion itself. It's much thicker and more solid than I expected, but I'm not really complaining. I'm using this so that I can install and switch between a solar panel battery tender or a work light on the square tubing ROPS of my tractor. I was planning to originally drill a hole to mount a ball, but this fitting means I didn't even have to do that, and thus had no worries about the tubing trying to collapse as I tightened the hardware. Between the stainless and aluminum, I have no worries about it rusting, especially since my tractor sits out exposed most of the year.

Oops, too big for my use, but decently built

I wasn't paying attention to the ball size for my original intent, but will eventually find something for it. Perhaps I'll turn it into a miniature pseudo ball hitch for my ebike more or less as decoration and or for appearance. • Material Durability: The bolts are tough and the material can withstand general wear and tear. • Clamping Surface: The flat clamping surfaces hold well to square bars. • Grip Enhancement: An ultra thin silicone pad can be used to improve grip.
